Well-Done
Matthew de Kersaint Giraudeau
The Black Swan Dinner

Wednesday 30 October 2013, 7—10pm
Rhubaba

Feeling lucky? Are you interested in chance? Have you ever experienced an unlikely event? Or do you ever wonder how our brains calculate risk?

The Black Swan dinner will be an open discussion event on the subject of high impact, low probability events and the way in which we assess risk in our every day lives. Invited guests include Helen Limon and Will Evans who have experienced Black Swan events, Adam Moore, a psychologist, John Amoore, a Medical Physician and Will Donovan, a Mathematician.

Well-Done is a programme of commissions in which Rhubaba invited Matthew de Kersaint Giraudeau, BAZ and Tom Varley to each host a meal during the winter months of 2013. The meal, its structure and the potential act of hosting, is intended as a starting point for the artists to each develop new work (be that an event, an evening of eating and talking or something else entirely).
